On 2008's THE GLASS PASSENGER, his second album fronting Jack's Mannequin, singer/keyboardist Andrew McMahon presents a vibrant set of emo-pop tunes. The survivor of a rare form of leukemia, McMahon imbues every song on PASSSENGER with an appealing amount of seriousness, as evinced in the urgent "Bloodshot" and "The Resolution," a hope-filled tune directly informed by his illness.
